Tennis Lessons

Tennis lessons for children ages 8 and above and adults will be available throughout the summer. Lessons include beginners, intermediate and advanced players who want to fine tune their game. The sessions will be held Szot Park weather permitting.

Lessons will be held Monday and Wednesday evenings at 3, 4 and 5 p.m. Lessons are taught by Instructor Paul Fein, who is returning for his 19th year. He is a former top 10 USTPA New England Men’s open division player and a published author.

Sessions consist of eight classes twice a week for a one-hour period. Lessons are weather permitting . Announcements will be made if the classes need to be postponed with make up date. 

Social Distancing, Equipment and Masks:  The participants will be appropriately socially distanced between other participants in the class as well as the instructor.  The instructor and all participants will wear a mask for the duration of the activity.  Participants are to provide their own equipment including Tennis rackets and masks to use.  

All participants for the classes are required to self-screen at home prior to coming to the program for the day. If the participant does not feel well they are advised to please stay at home.

(a) Self-screening shall include checking for symptoms including fever, cough, shortness of breath, gastrointestinal symptoms, new loss of taste/smell, muscle aches, or any other symptoms that feel like a cold. Anyone with a fever of 100.0?F or above or any other signs of illness must not be permitted to attend the program.
