Art-Ventures for Kids

Silly cities and Wiggly Waves
In this cross-country art-venture, don’t just admire the scenery... Create it! Travel to the countryside to design model houses with a mosaic roofs. Then grab oil pastels and build 3D cityscape collages. Finally, paint ocean waves that crash right over the edge of the stretched canvases. 

Watercolor Places and Pencil Cases
Design vibrant Painted Pencil Cases using a special resist technique and learn about one-point perspective while creating Watercolor Landscape Paintings. Plus, learn about symmetry while building a gorgeous Macaroni Mandala out of colorful pasta!

Classes will be held at The Parks Office 687 Front St.

Masks: Masks are required to be worn through out the class even when socially distanced.

All participants for the classes are required to self-screen at home prior to coming to the program for the day. If the participant does not feel well they are advised to please stay at home.

(a) Self-screening shall include checking for symptoms including fever, cough, shortness of breath, gastrointestinal symptoms, new loss of taste/smell, muscle aches, or any other symptoms that feel like a cold. Anyone with a fever of 100.0?F or above or any other signs of illness must not be permitted to attend the program.Art Ventures
