Gold Star Soccer has built a year-round age specific soccer curriculum around the physical, psychological, and developmental needs for young children ages 2 - 8. Our classes are well suited for the first time soccer player, while still being fun and engaging for players who have already had some soccer experience. We will give brief and direct instructions to allow for more free play for players to experiment with the soccer ball.

Gold Star Soccer will emphasize motor skills development, character building, creative play, and enjoyment of the sport. We will teach the fundamentals of soccer and encourage each player to become comfortable and confident with the soccer ball. Each player will experience a raised self-esteem and most importantly, experience the fun and enjoyment of the game. Our nurturing approach creates the best environment for young soccer players to grow. Individual development will vary.

Gold Star Zoo: Ages 2 -3 is a child development program taught with the assistance of a parent/guardian. A parent/guardian will participate with instruction, activities & games with their children and coach. This class will utilize soccer as a means to encourage motor skills development and cognitive ability. We will create a positive bonding experience between parents and their young children. These fun classes will have your child learning colors, numbers, shapes, letters, animals, countries, continents along with many more fun activities to develop the joy of education and beginning soccer skills.

Gold Star Zoo: Ages 4 - 6 is a child development program taught without parent/guardian participation. The class is designed to help transition these young soccer players into a structured group activity without a parent by their side. Players will start cultivating their love for the game of soccer. They will develop their gross motor skills and coordination while developing social skills and learning how to listen in a group setting. Players will learn all the basics of soccer. Each session will consist of a warm-up, an introduction of the daily topic, individual skills development and fun games designed to teach soccer skills. We will introduce the concept of 1v1 and teach each player the importance of being comfortable and confident with a soccer ball.

Gold Star Zoo: Ages 7 - 8 is a child development program taught without parent/guardian participation.
