A fun, balanced program of safe and engaging activities are offered with both individual and small group participation. Children are placed in the appropriate age group setting with the opportunity to share in such activities as team and individual sports, creative arts & crafts, nature activities, competitive/cooperative games, daily swimming, and use of spray parks. The staff of OPEE Summer Adventures once again has a special summer planned!

OPEE Registration Information
  • Sessions are filled on a first-come basis. Parents/guardians can register for any or all of the sessions based on availability.
  • The 2021 Parent/Guardian Manual found below is a detailed description of OPEE and its Covid-19 protocols. It is essential that the parent/guardian carefully go through this as it should answer all questions about the program.
  • Please download and complete all required forms below for EACH child attending OPEE.
  • After you register online, ALL forms listed below still need to be brought to the Chicopee Parks and Recreation Office for your child to be accepted at OPEE. Forms may be returned via mail, email (scan and send to dwoodill@chicopeema.gov), or dropped in the Chicopee Parks and Recreation mail slot which is located at the front door in the lower right by latest FRIDAY, JUNE 25.
  • Registration is not complete without all required forms sent/handed in. Without them a child cannot attend OPEE. Doctor's office printouts of medical forms are accepted.
  • If your child hasn't had a physical that will cover them through all of the weeks of the program, please call your doctor ASAP to schedule a new physical.
  • Extra copies of the forms (if necessary) will be available at the Chicopee Parks Department. Please call ahead at 594-3481 as we are by appointment only.
