Lifeguard Certification Course • Register • View Cart •

American Red Cross lifeguard certification class will include certification in Lifeguard Training, CPR/AED (Automated External Defibrillator) and Community First Aid. Participants must be 16 years of age on or before the end of the course. All participants complete a nine hour online portion, emailed by the instructor, prior to the first day of class. 

Participants must attend all 4 days, running during February Vacation.

Anyone who passes the course will be GUARANTEED an interview for summer employment with Chicopee Parks and Rec. 

Anyone who was certified as a lifeguard but has expired and wishes to get Re-Certified, that is a different course, and will be listed on the Chicopee Rec Website at a later date. Please contact Jamey Mercer with any questions. His email is jmercer@chicopeema.gov
