The Chicopee Parks Department's 2026-2027 Youth Basketball season is coming soon! Children must be at least 6 years old and in the first grade to 8th grade to participate. They must either live in or go to school in Chicopee as well.
Practices will begin the week of November 30, with games starting the weekend of January 2/3. There will be divisions for both boys and girls as followed:
Grade 1-2 (Coed)
Grade 3-4
Grade 5-6
Grade 7-8
Registrations to participate are done through the following city organizations:
Tigers AC: Online registration begins October 21 at www.chicopee-tigers.com. In person signups at the Tigers AC Club, 14 Montgomery St. (downstairs, located in back of building) are the following: October 23, 27, November 2, 5, 9 from 6:00-8:00 PM. Chicopee Galaxy: Online registration: https://www.chicopeegalaxy.com/ (begins Oct 21 and ends Nov 17):
Fees are $50 per player.
Knights of Columbus (K of C): In person sign up dates are October 21, 26, 28. November 4, 9, 11, 16 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at the K of C Youth Room (1599 Memorial Dr.) $40 per player.
*Suburban players are not eligible to play in this league.
